Terry Mooney, a man of immense passion and love, left us on November 4th, 2023 in Barrie, Ontario, at the age of 69. His legacy is one of unwavering devotion to God, a deep appreciation for the arts, and an extraordinary talent in the world of craftsmanship.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Terry grew up in a house where music was the heartbeat of their family life. He and his eight siblings each sported an instrument, creating a symphony of love and joy within their home. This musical upbringing instilled in him a profound love for the melodies that would accompany him throughout his life.

Terry's artistic lineage didn't end with music. His mother, Karen LaRue, was an incredibly talented painter, and her works adorned the walls of their home. Terry, in turn, shared his mother's artistic spirit by displaying many of her paintings in his own home, keeping her memory and talent alive through the generations.

Terry was a master cabinet maker, and his skill in designing and crafting classically-inspired furniture was nothing short of extraordinary. His creations were a testament to his meticulous craftsmanship and an embodiment of the beauty he saw in the world. He poured his heart and soul into each piece, leaving behind a rich tapestry of his artistry.

Above all, Terry cherished his three children, Renee, James, and Sarah. He was a loving and gentle father, raising them with values that will forever be a part of their lives. His children were his greatest source of pride, and his love for them knew no bounds.

In 1980, Terry embarked on a whirlwind romance with his first wife, Rejeanne. Later in life, he found a second chance at love with Wei, who was by his side until his last breath. Wei's unwavering care and support during Terry's battle with diabetes exemplified the strength of their bond. Together, they weathered life's storms, sharing in both joy and sorrow.

Terry Mooney's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, artistry, and a profound appreciation for the finer things in life. His creations, and his love will continue to resonate in the lives of those who were touched by his presence.
