Theodora (AKA Dora) Canavan

Peacefully at the Milton District Hospital Interim Care ward on Tuesday, March 2nd 2021.  Theodora Apolonia Canavan (Starmans), nee Ouwendyk, dearly loved mother of Rick Starmans, Jacquie Di Federico, Bob Starmans (Beatrice), Mike Starmans (Kathy), Patsy Mezureux, Jenny Gaudette (Greg) & Teresa Schaffrath.  Grandmother of Lisa (Claudia), Daniel, James (Jenna), Bill (Heather), Michael (Ashley), Christina (Paul), Amy (Chris), Megan (Kris), Robert, Matthew, Jaimie (Anthony), Derek (Lindsey) and Sara.  Great-grandmother of Aiden & Jake, Mateo & Adriano, Gavin & Abby, Liam, Madelyn & Marley, Blake, Kole & Della.  Dora will be missed by all her brothers and sisters and their families as she is lovingly reunited with her predeceased family and friends.  Dora is also remembered by her former spouse, Bert Starmans.

Our family would like to extend our almost inexpressible thanks to the Nursing Staff and Chaplain Service on 2B at Milton District Hospital.  They went over and above in the care that they provided, not only to our mum, but to the family members that were permitted to be with mum in her last days there.

Due to the unprecedented time of COVID, there will not be a service at this time as the visitor limitations are too strict.  We will arrange a celebration of her life at a future date.
