Seymour (nee Trent), Therese (Teri) Margaret passed peacefully to God in her 54th year surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Credit Valley Hospital after a courageous effort. Loving life partner of Edward Kufel. Devoted and loving mother to Megan Seymour, Jessica Seymour and Shelby Seymour. She is survived by her father William George Edward Trent and step-mother Millie along with siblings and in-laws William Edward (Helena Forstova) Trent, Wilfred (Lynn) Trent, Marion (James Kratz) Trent-Kratz, James (Sheri) Trent, Theresa (Rick) Szkaley and Irena (Armin) Bauerle. She is predeceased by her mother Leila (Bunny) Agnes Trent (2003). She was loved and will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. Teri was a lover of jazz, instrumental, and choral music and was a former member of Sweet Adeline's and Milton Choristers. Teri dedicated her professional life to local agricultural/ecosystem preservation and sustainability. She was an integral co-creator of the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere contributing greatly to Ontario and Canada's future. The family wishes to send blessings and thanks to the nurses and staff of the Credit Valley Hospital Neurology, ICU, and Palliative Care for their compassion and a special blessing to Dr. Hollingsworth for his hope and commitment to Therese. A memorial service will take place Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 1:30 pm at Trinity Anglican Church in Aurora, 79 Victoria Street.
