In Loving Memory of Theresia Masterson

Theresia was born in Banjoewangi, Indonesia on July 24, 1939.  She moved from Holland to Duncan, British Columbia in 1960 where she met William (Bob) Masterson and they dated until they were married on August 19,1961 in Surrey, B.C. at the United Church.  They moved to Surrey where William's parents and grandparents lived and also most of the Masterson family.  Shortly after, in May of 1963, Diana and Debra were born (twins), unfortunately only Diana survived.  In March of 1965, Robert James was born and the next year on June 21,1966 James was born but unfortunately, he died at birth.  On November 16,1967, Donna was born, she passed away in 2014 from ALS.  Shortly after Donna passed, Theresia, Bob and Diana moved to Arnprior to live with her son Rob and his wife Sheri.

Survived by her beloved husband William (Bob) Masterson, daughter Diana Masterson, son Rob Masterson and his wife Sheri Masterson, sister Eppy Lodder, brothers Rene and Paul, sister-in law Betsy as well as many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Theresia had a lot of health issue over the years (kidney and heart disease).  We were able to keep Theresia safe from Covid for over 3 years but we believe the last visit to the hospital the week before her passing was when she caught the Covid.  This, along with the medicine used to treat Covid, and the complications of near kidney failure and major heart issues caused her heart to stop.

There will be a visitation at Tubman Funeral Home, Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean, ON, K2H 8H7 on Monday November 21, 2022 from 10-12 in the Chapel.  A short graveside service will follow around 12:30 p.m. at Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C 3H2
