Thomas (Murray) Ross

ROSS, Thomas (Murray) – Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 26th, 2021, at Amica Little Lake Barrie, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 64 years. Cherished father of Larry (Vicki) of Penetanguishene, and Lynda (Sheena) of Baden. Loving grandfather of Michael (Sarah), and Carly (Ryan). Special great-grandfather of Madeline, Alexandra, Hayden, Kix and Tag. Much loved brother of Helen Cooper (the late Ken) of Orillia, Mary (Doug Astridge) of Barrie, and the late Eileen and Gord Brown of Orillia. Murray will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by all his friends and family. Thank you to ALL the Amica staff and Dr. Boushy for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation at JENNETT FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE on Saturday, September 25th, 2021, from 7:00 – 9:00p.m. and on Sunday September 26th, 2021, from 11:00a.m. – 2:00p.m.  There will be a PRIVATE Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00p.m. Cremated remains will be interred at Guthrie Cemetery. Due to COVID restrictions, we have reduced capacity. Please RSVP by calling the Funeral Home. The family has requested casual attire as that is what Murray would have wanted.
