Tomiko Okawa

OKAWA, Tomiko passed away on April 17, 2020 due to complications related to COVID-19 at the age of 77.  She was born on February 14, 1943 and grew up in Korea.  She moved to Tokyo, Japan after marriage to Masao (deceased 2018) and raised three daughters, Masae (Scott), Mie (Kam) and Hidemi (Jason).

Tomiko was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She was also proud Ba-chan (grandma) to Dylan, Kaelyn, Mika and Alexander.  She was a hardworking and proud business owner who enjoyed sharing good meals and hiking with her family and friends and photography.

Her kindness and generosity touched the hearts of many throughout her life.  She will be missed immensely.

A private burial service will be held at Glen Oak Cemetery in Oakville
