Tracey joined her parents and brother in heaven on Wednesday May 27, 2020, age 59, in Hamilton, Ontario Canada surrounded by her husband Rick, daughter Jocelyne, son Jeremy, son-in-law Trevor, sister Cindy and best friends of over 30 yrs Brian Liko and his wife Jeannine Lépine, after a courageous 10 month battle with cancer.
Born in Minneapolis Minnesota on July 19, 1960 to George and Frances Cook, just 2 months after they immigrated from Ottawa Ontario Canada to Minneapolis with 15 mo old sister Cindy and followed 18 months later by brother Randy. At age 2 1/2 our parents moved again for dad's job to Chicago IL. Tracey was raised in Park Forest and Park Forest South, IL. She graduated from Crete-Monee High School in 1978.

In 1980 Tracey headed north and moved to Ottawa, Ontario Canada. It was there she met the love of her life, Richard (Rick) Gagnon and married him on April 19, 1986. They were married 34 yrs and had 2 children she loved more than anything in this world, Jocelyne and Jeremy.

Preceding her in death were grandparents Gordon and Becky Cook, Francis and Margaret Manning, father George Morley Cook, mother Frances Margaret Manning Cook, brother Randall (Randy) Norman Clifford Cook, step sister Cindy Michel and father in law Andre Gagnon.

She was survived by her husband Richard Gagnon who later passed on June 24, 2022, daughter Jocelyne Gagnon (Trevor Tugby), son Jeremy Gagnon (Kristie Anderson), granddaughters Olivia and Ava Tugby, mother in law Jacqueline Leduc who passed on Apr 2, 2021, sister Cindy Coup(Allen), Mom2 Sue Cook (Ed Knight), step sisters Pam Simms (Greg), Jane Minnick (Jay), Susan Bryce( Rick Hickey), brother in law Robert Gagnon ( Deborah), sister in law Nicole Monahan (Shawn), Aunts Beth MacKay and Ghislaine Cook. Best Friends Brian Liko and wife Jeannine Lépine, Jeff and Pam Klipfel, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tracey dearly loved spending time with family and friends, especially time with granddaughter Olivia her last 2 years. Granddaughter Ava had not been conceived yet, but we believe she was heaven sent by Tracey. She loved going to their camper in Medina NY and spending time with dear friends Pam and Jeff Klipfel, taking trips to TN to visit her sister Cindy, to Munster IN to our dad's for US Thanksgiving. She loved Bingo, Casino's, Hallmark movies, and her dogs Maya and Lexi.

She was a great down to earth person who made friends everywhere she went. Was loved by so many and made beautiful memories with us all.
