Travis Reilly Matthew

Travis Reilly Matthew, age 39 passed away in the early morning of October 28, 2024 in his home with his wife Shauna Hills by his side. He is survived by his wife Shauna Hills, step-daughter Francesca (Frankie) Hills, his mother Lynn Matthew, his brother Spencer Matthew, his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Travis was born March 13, 1985, and worked hard to become an accomplished tattoo artist in the Ottawa region for over 20 years. Travis was an amazing tattoo artist and so many people are lucky enough to have been tattooed by him in his short life. He enjoyed his craft and loved being able to work on complex art pieces with his longtime clients. He spent the last 4 years with his 2 loves, Shauna and Frankie, their dog Sargeant, and lived happily with them in Barrhaven until his passing. Travis will be remembered for his booming voice, big bear hugs and for having the best beard in the city.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday November 18th at 5:00 pm at Churchills in Westboro. As Frankie's education was extremely important to Travis, in lieu of flowers donations for Frankie’s education fund are graciously appreciated. Travis loved Frankie very much and wanted to ensure her future.
