Trevor Smith

November 11, 1964 — October 20, 2014

In loving memory of Trevor Darrin Smith who un-expectantly  passed away after a struggle with liver complications.  Trevor was predeceased by his parents Karen Elizabeth Aveline and Warren Key Smith.  Survived by brother Gregory, sister in law Jill  and niece Diana, Trevor is greatly missed by many surviving  Aunts, Uncles and cousins from the Smith and Aveline families as well as his many close friends.
Trevor was a devoted son, brother, and friend.  He was a generous soul who touched  many peoples lives dearly during his life path.  Although taken from us much too soon, Trevor is remembered for his positive and calm demeanor in the face of many struggles both personally and professionally.  In most recent years he had progressed in re-inventing himself as an independent entrepreneur in both the film security field, and most recently in food service promoting his food truck.  Both endeavors were a testament to his resiliency, tenacity, and independent spirit.

The Family encourages those wishing to make donations on Trevor ‘s behalf to contact  the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the  Toronto Humane Society

Miss Me But Let Me Go – Unknown
When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set on me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little–but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared,
miss me–but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take,
and each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan,
a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds,
miss me–but let me go
