Velba Buhl Gee

Velba Buhl Gee (nee Chapman) was born on August 4, 1930 in Vancouver and passed away on June 27, 2022 in Toronto. Val was predeceased by her husband Bill Gee, parents Violet and Donat Tanguay, her brother Mel Tanguay (Janice) and is survived by her daughter Kerrin (Carlos Moniz) and grandchildren Laura (Jeff Turnbull) and Marc. Val was a highly intelligent and fiercely independent woman who was ahead of her time in many ways. She had a strong interest in the Arts and History and was a gifted writer and editor. Val was a lifelong learner and completed her degree from the University of Toronto in her 60's and was a respected editor of books and manuscripts. She lived life on her own terms. A private ceremony will be held by the family.
