Vianney Dicaire

C’est avec tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Vianney Dicaire d’Ottawa, Ontario, décédé le vendredi 15 mars 2024, à l’âge de 77 ans.

Vianney était le fils de feu Roméo Dicaire et de feu Cécile Gratton; le père de Manon (Christian Jud), Annie, Dominic (Lucie Michaud), et Adam (Andrea Robertson); le « gros-pa » de Sophie; le « grand-père Dicaire » de Vincent et Alexandre; et le « grand-père » de Isaac, Madeline, Charles, Douglas, et Bradley. Il laisse également dans le deuil ses frères et sœurs, Huguette (Alphonse Lafrance), Réjeanne (feu Fernand Legault), Sylvianne (Jean-Guy Latreille), Réjean (Huguette Séguin), Raoul (Lorraine Blanchard), Raymond (Sylvie Bray), Gaëtan (Linda Murphy), Colette (Pierre Séguin), Rachèle, et Michel (Lise Pitre); une belle-sœur Thérèse Lalande; ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. Il fut prédécédé par ses frères Gérald et Edgard.

Une célébration de la vie, ainsi que l’inhumation au cimetière Ste-Euphémie, à Casselman, Ontario, auront lieu dans les semaines à venir.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Vianney Dicaire of Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the age of 77.

Vianney was the son of the late Roméo Dicaire and the late Cécile Gratton; the father of Manon (Christian Jud), Annie, Dominic (Lucie Michaud), and Adam (Andrea Robertson); "gros-pa" to Sophie; “grand-père Dicaire” to Vincent and Alexandre; and “grand-père” to Isaac, Madeline, Charles, Douglas, and Bradley. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Huguette (Alphonse Lafrance), Réjeanne (late Fernand Legault), Sylvianne (Jean-Guy Latreille), Réjean (Huguette Séguin), Raoul (Lorraine Blanchard), Raymond (Sylvie Bray), Gaëtan (Linda Murphy), Colette (Pierre Séguin), Rachèle, and Michel (Lise Pitre); a sister-in-law Thérèse Lalande; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers Gérald and Edgard.

A celebration of life, as well as the burial at Ste-Euphémie Cemetery in Casselman, Ontario, will take place in the coming weeks.
