It is with great sadness that the family of Vivian Warner announce his passing on June 13, 2023 at the age of 93. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years, Luenda Warner (nee Little), his children, Brian and Jeffrey (Kyla) and grandchildren Ellia (step-granddaughter), Wyatt, Violette and Renee.
He is survived by brothers Levi (Ruth), Albert (Margaret), Bill (Nancy-deceased) and Keon (Rob) and sister Florence (Al-deceased). He was pre-deceased by parents Walter, Martha and Frank (step-father), sister Sybil (Clarence-deceased) and brothers Winston (Jennie) and Dave (Marion).
Vivian immigrated to Canada in 1951 and later joined the Canadian Armed Forces, where he served for 12 years. He then joined the Civil service as a graphic designer until he retired. Vivian was an avid gardener and painter and a lifelong learner. He worked hard every day of his life to build a better future for his children. He will be fondly remembered by all.
A celebration of life will take place at the Cheshire Cat pub at 2193 Richardson Side Road in Carp, on Tuesday, July 4 from 1 to 4 pm.
