Dietl, Walter Karl

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Walter, on July 2, 2021 in his 77th year.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 49 years, Alma; his brother Hermann, and sisters Annemarie, and Dora, as well as many nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Adelbert and Adelheid, his son Adalbert Gustav, his siblings Willi, Englebert, Linda, and Alois.

Born in Bad-Grund, Germany, in 1944, he emigrated with his parents, and siblings to Ontario, Canada in 1963. He married the love of his life, Alma Miller, in 1972.

Walter was a very generous man. He always had a pet dog, and all were named ‘flockly’. Walter enjoyed coin and stamp collecting. He very seldom complained about anything, and enjoyed making people laugh with his jokes.

Cremation has already taken place. Donations can be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
