Walter Alfred Sargent

SARGENT, Walter Alfred “Skip”, passed away on Sunday June 27, 2021 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, with his sons at his side. Skip Sargent, aged 93 years, loving father of Jim and his wife Margo, Mike and his wife Helene. Proud grandfather of Chelsea, Jessica, Caitlyn and Liam and Great-Grandpa to Alice and Evan. Dear brother of Margaret Molozzi and predeceased by his sisters Min Ditchfield, Dorothy Cowtan, and brothers Jim, Doug and George Sargent.

Skip was a loving father and grandfather. We’ll miss his storytelling, his sense of humour and his fierce loyalty to those he loved.

There will be a memorial for the immediate family when circumstances allow. In memory contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
