Waltraud (Rita) Morrison

Rita (Waltraud) Morrison, 69, of Lambton Shores, ON, passed away suddenly on July 6, 2014.



The casual Celebration of Life and Reception will be held at Player's Restaurant and Hall - Lower level on Saturday July 12, 2014 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. 1749 Dundas St. London, ON 519-452-1030.



Rita was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1970. Rita worked as a Hairstylist for The Hair Shoppe in Barrie ON and owned Rita's Hairstyling of Barrie.



Rita is survived by her common-law partner Rossi Loos of Lambton Shores, ON and Loos family of Germany, daughter in-law Michelle Morrison, granddaughter Megan and husband Paul Bayes with Rita's great grandchild Kendall, grandson Mackenzie Morrison of Barrie, ON, daughter Manuela(Mandy) and husband Ryan Thompson and granddaughter Natasha Marquis of Elmvale, ON and youngest son Joseph(Joe) Morrison of London, ON and other family and friends. Dearly missed by her dogs, Mr B, Pipi, Baby, and Lucky.



Rita was married to Peter (P.I.) Morrison for 25 years. Rita is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Elly Gesinghaus of Germany, husband Peter (P.I) Morrison and eldest son Michael R. Morrison of Barrie.



In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Sarnia Humane Society and Canadian Cancer Society. Our family wishes to thank all the wonderful staff at Bluewater Health in Sarnia for the amazing care of Rita in her final moments.
