YOUNG – Wanda Fern (nee Andrews)

November 2, 1953 – August 1, 2023 (69 years old)

Peacefully in the arms of her two children Brandon and Brandie after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

Loving Nana to Kiana and Tristan. Also cherished by Lynn Dewar and Philippe Yassa.

Predeceased by her husband Chesley, her parents Herbert and Ivy Andrews, and her brother Georgie.

Wanda was an extremely proud Nana and a caring mother who always put her family first. She spent 47 years serving the public as a dedicated employee of CIBC.

Mom left us with some final words…  “I’m ¾ of the way there, where the sun meets the water.”

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors at Saint Vincent Hospital for their excellent compassionate care.

As per Wanda’s wishes, no service will be held.
