Wendy Margaret Forsythe

Wendy Margaret Forsythe, a.k.a. Beaker, suddenly passed away on October 8, 2022, at Royal Victoria Hospital.
Wendy was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Beatrice Forsythe, and survived by her sister Bev. She was a special friend who became the family of Sandy Glynn and would call Sandy’s parents Mom and Pops. She spent every holiday with Sandy and Matt at their home where she made the best ham, everyone loved it! She became Aunt Wendy to Melissa Price, Jennifer, Alyssa and Jarrett Barnes, Brandon and Leeann Fountain.
Wendy worked at the IOOF Senior’s Home for 35 years where she made many friends, too many to mention. You would often find Wendy walking from IOOF to Giant Tiger where she would pick up her scratch tickets, cheesies, and peanut butter cups. Oh, how she loved her cheesies! She also travelled 3 times to Cuba with her good friend Erja.
A service for Wendy will be held at Basic Funerals – Jennett Memorial Centre on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. She will be inurned at Lakeview Cemetery, Midland, in the spring where she will be with her parents. If desired, donations may be made to the IOOF Barrie, ioof.com/donate
