With husband Tom at her side, Wendy's 20-year battle with breast cancer came to a sudden end at 10:15 p.m.
Wendy said her good-byes to her mother Grace Cross and beloved children Katherine Natasha, Shawn Thomas and Joshua Samuel; son-in-law Paul Frederick and daughter-in-law Melissa Acheson; her precious grandchildren: Max Frederick (12), Sam Frederick (9), Violet Frederick (6) and Levi Hill (7); and to her dear life-long friend Arlene Leclaire (née Bourassa).
Born in Ottawa on November 7, 1950, Wendy was predeceased by her father Walter Allen Cross. She is survived by her brothers Doug (Heather Cross) and Andrew (Imelda Cross).
Wendy wanted any donations to benefit her beloved sisterhood of breast cancer survivors. And the Busting Out dragon boat team that gave her so much joy.
