Our beloved father William Haley passed away peacefully at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, Ontario on October 27th at the age of 81. He is survived by his sons Duane and Darryl, grandchildren Sarah and Christopher, brothers, Clem Haley (Kathleen), Patrick Haley (Doreen), sister, Minnie Cake and John (Julia) who unfortunately followed him in passing the next morning.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, Emily Haley (Hodge), son William, parents, John & Bridget Haley; sisters, Alice Haley, Margaret Haley, Delores Crews
He leaves behind a large family of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who will miss his dry wit and sarcasm and sense of humour.
He was born April 8th and grew up in Allan’s Island, Newfoundland. He met his wife Emily and married in 1967 and loved her until his final moments.
Between Spring and Fall of 2025 it is hoped both of their ashes can be buried with their son William at Allan’s Island, who passed in 1968 if arrangements can be made. Details will follow.
