William McAllister 

September 12, 1939 – February 9, 2024 

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of William Henry McAllister. He passed peacefully with family by his side after a brave battle with lung disease. 

Willie loved and was loved by his wife [deceased] of 38 years, Doris McAllister. 

Willie was an avid outdoorsman and very passionate about hunting, fishing and gardening; he shared these interests graciously with friends and family. 

Willie was the proud father of Jim [deceased] (Gloria), Kim (Bob), and Danny (Heather). Willie will be fondly missed by his adored step-children David, Bonnie (Dave), Debbie, Cathy (Paul), Bill (Sharon), Chris (Tracey), and Susan (Jeff). 

Willie found immense joy spending time with his grandchildren Dylan, Maxwell, Olivia, Chris [deceased], Jeff, Chad, David, Chris, Robert, Aaron, Damon, Jonathon, Casey, Stevey, Kirgan, Brittany, Nicholas, Tyler, Zachary, and Josh. 

Willie was the dear brother of Mary Pendleton, Danny (Debbie) McAllister, Linda (Jack) Barber, and is predeceased by Tom, Joe, Freddie, Robert, Annie, Ron, and Jimmy. He was a friend and brother-in-law to Cliff Matton. 

Willie will be fondly remembered by his many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

A special thank-you is given from Willie’s family to Dr. Lopez, the care providers from Home and Community Care, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, and RVH. 

He will always be remembered and live on in our hearts. A memorial will be held on April 12th at 1pm at The Jennett Memorial Centre.
