William Salmon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother: William Hugh Dwight "Everton" Salmon, on Monday December 20, 2021 at the age of 64, at St. Michael Hospital. He will be remembered and missed by his son Dwight, his sisters Bernadette, Marcia, Lavern & Karen, his grandchildren Aliyah & Xavier, Beverley (Dwight’s mom), his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, cousins and friends. Everton is predeceased by his parents Lincoln and Elvylena, his brothers Wilbert (John) & Devon, his grandmothers Cecilia Amanda Edwards & Elizabeth Dokoo, his grandniece Vianne McLaughlin and his brother-in-law Paul Kitson.

Everton as he was known to those close to him, was often the life of the party. With the personality to captivate a room, you always felt his presence. He was hardworking and lived life on his terms. He found comfort and joy in the simple things. He had a passion for music and dominoes.

Everton loved his family and especially his grandchildren. His undying love for our late mother was evident and unquestionable. When Mama suddenly passed away he never fully recovered and found it difficult to cope with these emotions. He struggled with his mental and physical health. Those issues eventually took their toll, and his heart finally gave out. The medical team at St Michael's Hospital did their best, but it was his time. You are now at rest Everton with no more stress and pain. Sleep on in the arms of your Heavenly Father. He saw that your purpose on this earth was over and called you home.

May you walk with the spirits of family and friends and find peace in the next life.

A social distanced celebration of life mass will be held after cremation at:
