William Joseph Tomlinson

It is with broken hearts, the family announces the passing of “Willi”, peacefully in his sleep on Friday September 22nd, 2023 at the age of 85.

Dad’s greatest joy was his family and he will be forever missed by his five children, Deb, Shaunna, Jeff, Michelle and Tammy, 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A gifted carpenter, dad took great pride in building and fixing up just about anything. His greatest sense of accomplishment came from fixing up the old house in York that was first built by his great grandfather.  With an easy smile and a kind heart he loved making new friends, but treasured his old friends. Fishing, hunting and flying were his peace but Wild Bill loved adventure.  He travelled around the world seeking new experiences and his story telling was legendary. Especially when it came to stories about his gold mine at Lemon Creek.

He will be forever missed by those who knew and had the pleasure to love him.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
