William (Bill) passed away peacefully at home after a courageous fight against cancer with his family around him.  Married to Barbara (Wilkins) for 54 years.  Survived by his children Tracey Hennessey (Jamie), Faye, Gerry (LeeAnn) and Ron (Jessie) and by his sister Gladys Lundvall.  He will be greatly missed by his 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Special thanks go out to Dr. Lenehan from the London Health Sciences Center ( Cancer Clinic) and to Dr. Donahue and staff at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Cancer Clinic.

Also an extra special thanks to Lisa, Amanda, and Dr Kim from the VON Erie/St Claire area. We couldn’t have done it without all of you
In honor of his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  You can take to the skies like you always wanted. Fly away on the wings of a gull.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bills name to one of the following charities—
1) CoField Inc. St.Thomas/London (provider for intensive behavior intervention for children with Autism)
2) Violence against Women Services Elgin County OR
3) Inn Out of the Cold St. Thomas/Elgin. (provides shelter,meals,clothing for the homeless)
