William Zulak

Bill Zulak, my sweet & loving husband, passed away on Dec. 31, 2018 at 6 am @ Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto after a valiant fight with Lewy Body Dementia. Bill was a retired teacher who taught for almost 30 yrs. @ Morning Glory Public School in Pefferlaw, Ontario for the York Region District School Board. He also taught 15 years as an occasional teacher = 45 yrs. He enjoyed playing cards and going to our trailer @ the Ponderosa Campground in Mount Albert, Ontario on Highway 48 for 20 years. We were inseparable during our 22 years of marriage. Bill & I had a very strong, happy & contented life together; we where very blessed during our marriage. Bill loved his crosswords, puzzle books & writing in his diary daily; he loved to walk and also go to Casino Rama where he played the tables and often the video poker machines. I loved him so much and he was so good to me with his loving manner. He was a quiet man so we complimented each other as I am outgoing. Bill was very kind and would help people in need. I brought my friendships into our marriage and we had many wonderful trips to Arizona, Florida twice and finally to Las Vegas when our niece Shannon married a beautiful man Mr. Bruce Moore. We went to Florida a couple of times to visit his Mother Helene Chiasson in Coco Beach and friends in Hollywood,Florida. During his Mother’s illness we made several trips to visit her in Montreal (Helene DaSilva) and Valleyfield, Quebec staying with his very french family Claudette & Gilles Chiasson and his many cousins. I miss him so much but console myself looking back with so many happy memories. He will be missed by his extended family, in particular Linda & Peter Shishis, Diane Puckett and Doris Annis and Family. Billy, my darling sweetheart, R.I.P.

A Celebration of Williams life will held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 3:30 pm at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto : 20 Eglinton Avenue West, on the 16th floor, in Toronto.
