William (Bill) Taylor

May 30, 1940 — November 10, 2021

William (Bill) Taylor, also known as Vasilios Tsoutsos, age 81, passed away on Wednesday November 10th, 2021, at his home in Welland. He is survived by his three children, Marina Tsoutsos, Theo Tsoutsos, and Elizabeth Taylor, as well as their mothers, Argiro Tsoutsos and Ioanna Lekka-Taylor, his sister Eleni Bennett, his best friend and partner-in-crime Joanne Rennie, and a big and loving Greek family.

Bill also greatly loved his grand-dogs, Jack, Ty, Jax, Ellie, and Murphy. After his daughters, Marina and Elizabeth, sent him edited videos of Jack and Murphy “talking”, Bill half-believed and joked around that the dogs had super powers and could talk to humans!

He was a strong and kind hearted man and when he loved someone, he loved them deeply and would do anything for them. Many of you would know that he lived such a full and interesting life. He travelled the world with many experiences and knowledge to pass on.

He was also very strong in faith, regardless of his end-of-life choices to be cremated and not have a funeral service. His wishes will be honoured in that way and he will be returned to his home country, Greece, in the place where he experienced his most carefree moments in life. We would like to welcome family and friends to light a candle in his memory, as he will never be forgotten by those who loved him and will be greatly missed.
