Wolfe Herman Buchholz

Mr. Wolfe Buchholz passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Thursday, January 12, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents Hermann and Dorothea. He is survived by his children Regan (Fleur), Andrea and new granddaughter, Isla. Our family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at RVH and Princess Margaret for their devotion to our father’s care over these many years. He was a constant inspiration with humble beginnings. Having emigrated from Germany to Canada post-war, Wolfe dedicated himself to enriching the lives of students as a teacher and through his love of sports as a coach. He always went the extra mile to help others and to share his faith and a message of hope. He was a talented writer and an entertaining storyteller who always left an impression and easily made friends everywhere he went. He will be dearly missed.
