Wyndham (Wyn) Logue

After an adventurous and full life, Wyn died peacefully on July 11, 2021 in Toronto, Canada.
Born in South Africa on July 16, 1934, he was the first child of the late Alfred and Phyllis Logue. His brother Peter was born a few years later. Wyn’s early life and education were spent in South Africa, where he showed a keen interest and ability in the arts, ultimately building a successful career as a talented and well-regarded graphic designer.
Wyn’s passion for travel took him to London, England, where he worked in advertising design and continued to develop his skills and education in both graphic and fine art. In 1965, new career opportunities and a chance to see more of the world took Wyn to Toronto, Canada. He made the city his home and it was here where his career in advertising, design and newspaper retail design flourished.
Settled comfortably in Toronto, Wyn continued to pursue his interests in theatre, opera, literature, fitness and of course, world travel. He cultivated a vibrant and extensive social circle with his warm, open-hearted and generous spirit. Wyn was a true and trusted friend to many and, in his later years, his warmth and good nature brought him the affection and compassion of the dedicated staff who cared for him.
Wyn was much loved by many people in Toronto and around the world. His family, devoted friends and many acquaintances will miss him dearly but always remember him with great warmth, love and affection.
In memory of Wyn and his lifelong love of cats and dogs, please consider a donation to your local Humane Society or animal rescue.
