Yau Kwai Chan

CHAN, Yau Kwai passed away peacefully at home on December 25, 2024 at the age of 100.

Yau Kwai was the devoted husband of the late Cheng, Hing Fung, with whom he shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. He was the beloved father of William Chan, Lilian Chan & Patrick Leung, Charles Chan & Zhongli Miu, Benjamin Chan & Kitty Ho; proud grandfather of Max Chan, Felicia Leung & Alex Leung, Xinyu Chan, and Emma Chan.

Yau Kwai, born in China on February 20, 1924, was a devoted and hardworking man who cherished his role as a father and grandfather above all else. His unwavering dedication to his family and his kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and personal support workers who provided compassionate care to him over the past few years.

A private memorial service was held to honour his life and legacy.
