GOLD, Yoram (Joram, Jay)
After a long and valiant fight with cancer, Yoram passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Ontario on April 14, 2019 in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Sylvia Gold. Beloved father of Jared, Rachel and her husband Andrew, and Jessica. Son of the late Imre Gold and Margaret Gold. Yoram was born just after World War II on August 5, 1945 in Israel. He moved to Canada with his family when he was 8 years old. He graduated from the University of Waterloo in Environmental Studies and went on to complete a Law degree at the University of Western Ontario and worked as a lawyer. He loved driving and working hard for his clients and his family. He could always see the humour in any situation. Memorial Service is being held at St. John's Dixie Chapel on April 20, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with close family and friends. The Rabbi will be leading the service at 3:30pm. The family would like to thank all the staff at Credit Valley Hospital, Anna from Heart Health Hospice and family and friends for all their support. Memorial Donations in Yoram Gold’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
