Provincial Park Scattering of Remains
Basic Funeral’s Provincial Park Scattering Service provides a meaningful way to say goodbye. We offer an ecologically friendly memorial suited for those who prefer a simpler form of final disposition.
Direct Cremation
With our Provincial Park Scattering Service, your loved one’s cremated remains are taken into our care and brought to Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Oakville. Once there, they are scattered in the park’s designated area where you can then visit at your leisure.
Our Provincial Park Scattering Service includes transfer from the crematorium into our care, transport to Bronte Creek Provincial Park, and scattering performed by one of our funeral professionals.
We visit the park an average of twice per year to complete these scatterings. You will be mailed the original Cremation Certificate after the cremation is complete, for your records. This service is offered to all families for $150 + HST.
