Wabano Centre has a Cultural Gathering Space that can comfortably accommodate approximately 250 seated guests, standing receptions can accommodate up to 500 guests. Wabano Centre is located on Montreal Road, less than 10 minutes from the downtown core with convenient access to the Vanier Parkway and the Queensway to accommodate guests from across Ottawa. Catering and ample parking are also available for all of those attending the Memorial Service or Celebration of Life.

This offers options for a small family gathering or a large Memorial Service or Celebration of Life. The Canadian Museum of History
The Canadian Museum of History offers the most unique venues in surroundings that are world class and uniquely Canadian. Located in the heart of our beautiful National Capital Area, the Museum offers the most spectacular view of the city. Their River View Salon is a private and charming venue located behind the Museum of History. Its windowed exterior wall offers a fantastic view of the Ottawa River and Parliament Hill. The River Salon can accommodate 100-140 guests. For daytime events, the museum also offers The Douglas Cardinal Salon, located near the Grand Hall. This space can accommodate approximately 75 guests.
The Canadian War Museum
Renowned as one of the country’s architectural gems, the Canadian War Museum sits near the banks of the Ottawa River and offers a variety of unique venues right in the heart of downtown Ottawa. They have spaces available for daytime events for up to 150 guests, including the Ateliers, or the Barney Danson Theatre. The latter is a multipurpose, multifunctional space. It is equipped with cutting-edge audio, lighting and video technology, and can be used as a lecture hall, and a banquet hall, often at the same time.
Hellenic Meeting & Reception Centre
Hellenic Meeting & Reception Centre is located at 1315 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa. Hellenic has been host to many meeting, receptions, and events for the last 20 years. Their staff is very accommodating which is comforting to those planning a Memorial Service or a Celebration of Life for their loved one.
